Light and elegant on the palate, where creamy vanilla meets gentle oak. A subtle tannic bite lends restrained grip, finishing clean with a softly warming, balanced presence.

Finish

Clean, delicate finish with citrus zest lingering alongside vanilla and soft oak. A subtle tannic underline adds gentle depth, fading to a refined sweetness that echoes fruit and a whisper of spice.

J&B stands for Justerini & Brooks, the London wine and spirits merchant founded in 1749 by Giacomo Justerini. The Brooks name was added later after Alfred Brooks bought the business, creating the name that would become closely linked with blended Scotch whisky. J&B Rare was created in the early 1930s and became the company’s best-known whisky. It was built with international markets in mind, especially the United States, where its lighter, smoother style helped it become one of the most recognisable Scotch whisky blends of the 20th century.
