J&B Rare Blended Whisky (1970's Bottling)
Out of stock
Justerini and Brooks, aka Diageo, produced this bottle of J&B Rare in the late 1960s. The bottle design and recipe has hardly changed over the years, but this still remains a classic blended whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with a warm honey glow.
Nose
Soft honeyed fruit with vanilla; a delicate sherry lift hints at dried apricot, fig and almond. Subtle oak and spice entwine, yielding a warm, inviting nose with quiet depth.
Palate
Silky and balanced on the palate, with a creamy mouthfeel and a honeyed sweetness. Dried fruit—raisin and fig—softly mingle with almond, orange zest, and a hint of cocoa. Subtle sherry-cask depth supplies vanilla, toffee and gentle spice, while warm oak lingers into a smooth, enduring finish.
Finish
Silky, long finish with hints of vanilla, toffee and dried fruit, slowly giving way to refined oak and a kiss of spice that lingers softly on the palate.
