Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper reflections and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
Sherried, polished nose rich with dried fig and raisin, orange zest and honeyed malt; cocoa nibs, almond and toffee mingle with oak and a gentle spice, yielding warm, elegant maturity.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with orchard fruits—apple and pear—richly layered with honeyed toffee and vanilla. Nutty oak carries hints of dried apricot and raisin, a whisper of cocoa. Subtle sherry warmth threads through spice—cinnamon and clove—before a refined, lingering finish that marries sweetness and oak with poise.
Finish
Long, elegant finish where dried cherry and fig mingle with cocoa and orange zest. Subtle sherry sweetness lingers, wrapped in warm, nutty oak and a refined spice that slowly fades to a delicate, enduring trail.
