Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with honey-gold highlights and a coppery glow, like autumn sunlight on aged oak.
Nose
An aged sherry glow on the nose, with fig, raisin and orange peel mingling with biscuity barley, honeyed toffee and a kiss of almond. Rich oak, a whisper of leather and wax, and a marine saline edge lend gravitas, while faint smoke threads through, echoing Inchgower’s coastal heritage.
Palate
Velvet on the palate, honeyed malt with orange zest and soft vanilla. Subtle sherry influence delivers dried fruit, almond and a hint of spice, balanced by creamy toffee and gentle oak. Mid-palate reveals custard, citrus oils and a maritime kiss. The finish is long and refined, with nutty oak, delicate rancio and a saline glow that lingers.
Finish
Elegant and persistent, the finish unfolds with gentle spice and dried-fruit sweetness, carried by sherry-matured oak. Cocoa, almond and caramel weave through a subtle maritime note, leaving a refined warmth that lingers long after the sip.
