Tasting Notes
Nose
A floral bouquet – trumpet lilies and honeysuckle. Next wafts in some sugary cherry cola and strawberry biscuit crumbs, followed by crunchy toffee popcorn, gooey marshmallow and dusty sherbet lollies.
Palate
Sticky pain d’épices mingles with crumbly custard tarts, followed by an explosion of floral fruitiness in the form of juicy nectarines, delicate elderflower, perfectly ripe guava and over-brewed rooibos tea.
Finish
Botanic notes of peony and saffron are encompassed by luscious pears and demerara sugar cubes, followed by a lasting aromatic spiciness, reminiscent of pink peppercorns.
