Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights, shaded toward mahogany at the rim, a warm, sherried glow.
Nose
A floral bouquet of trumpet lilies and honeysuckle opens, drifting into sugary cherry cola and strawberry biscuit crumbs, then crunchy toffee popcorn, gooey marshmallow and dusty sherbet lollies.
Palate
Sticky pain d’épices mingles with crumbly custard tarts, then a bloom of floral fruitiness: juicy nectarines, delicate elderflower, perfectly ripe guava, and a hint of over-brewed rooibos tea.
Finish
Botanic notes of peony and saffron linger, paired with ripe pears and demerara sugar. The finish unfurls a lasting aromatic spice, with a whisper of pink peppercorns that lingers gracefully, inviting another sip.
