Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent and aged, the nose pours dark fruit—raisins, fig, and date—through velvety oak, with mahogany, leather and cedar notes. A refined sherry sweetness threads cocoa, orange zest, and spice, as cinnamon and clove linger. Elegant, dense, and inviting, it hints at a long, dignified finish.
Palate
Opulent and mature, this 32-year Imperial coats the palate with dried fruit—fig and raisin—woven with sherry‑rich cocoa and toasted almond. Nutmeg and clove spice lift the mid‑palate, carried by refined oak, leading to a long, warm finish of leather, dark chocolate, and a soft, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, velvet finish of dark fruit, cocoa and toffee, threaded with sherry sweetness and polished oak. Spices evolve into toasted almond and a final wisp of gentle smoke, leaving a warm, luxurious glow on the palate.
