In stock
Between You and I is a 16 year old single malt that comes with no tasting notes—instead, you decide what it tastes like and the personal things its complex flavours evoke for you. The first person to taste this whisky was three Michelin star chef Björn Frantzén, and his personal tasting notes have inspired its packaging.
Björn found a huge range of associations in just one glass of this 16-year-old single malt, from the smell of Crème Brûlée and the sound of rock music to baking memories from his childhood in Sweden.
Between You and I is a 16-year-old single malt, crafted from virgin Swedish oak casks, ex-bourbon casks and sherry-seasoned oak casks. This special-edition, released in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Björn Frantzén is all about discovering a more personal way to taste whisky, which is why, instead of tasting notes, each bottle comes with a set of prompts to help spark personal associations as you explore the whisky’s depths of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights, a warm, sunlit hue suggestive of sherry and oak.
Nose
Crème brûlée, vanilla custard and toffee lead the aroma, softly kissed by a peat-smoked edge. Sherry-dark fruits mingle with cocoa and toasted almond, while warm Swedish oak releases spice and honey. A coastal, bakery-sweet invitation that invites personal reflection.
Palate
Delicate coastal peat unfurls into creamy, honeyed sweetness, like creme brulee with a wisp of smoke. Sherry‑seasoned oak lends dried fruit and orange zest, draped in warming spice, while virgin Swedish casks add a waxy, velvety depth. Bourbon vanilla threads through, keeping the texture supple. The finish is long and refined: gentle peat, toasted almond, cocoa and a subtle mineral lift.
Finish
Long, aromatic finish with gentle peat smoke, maritime salt and honeyed vanilla. Dried fruit notes mingle with sherry-softened oak, while toasted spice and a whisper of cedar linger, fading to a warm, refined sweetness that lingers gracefully on the tongue.
