Ascension marks a new chapter for Heaven’s Door—anchored in Kentucky, where we’ve laid down roots in Pleasureville and are building toward what’s next.
This small-batch expression blends two Kentucky straight bourbons—one high-rye, one traditional—for a profile that bridges richness and spice. It’s non-chill filtered, aged over five years, and produced in limited quantities for those who seek soul over spectacle.
Smooth yet distinctive, Ascension layers caramel and vanilla over oak and baking spice, finishing warm and steady.
A bourbon that honors its roots—and builds something new atop them.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, warm amber with copper-gold highlights and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Aromas of caramel and vanilla rise first, layered over toasted oak and baking spice. A whisper of rye warmth adds subtle spice, yielding a warm, inviting bouquet with depth and poised sweetness.
Palate
Silky yet structured on the palate, this medium- to full-bodied bourbon coats with caramel and vanilla, braided with oak and baking spice. The high-rye influence adds a subtle rye pepper—cinnamon and clove—woven into a creamy, warm texture. Rich sweetness anchors seasoned wood, finishing warmly with steady, lingering spice.
Finish
A warm, steady finish of caramel and vanilla over toasty oak, with baking spice lingering in a graceful, lasting warmth.
