Tasting Notes
Colour
A rich copper-amber glow with sunlit honey-gold edges and warm mahogany undertones, softly caramel in the light.
Nose
A luxuriant nose of honeyed orchard fruit—apricot, pear and peach—woven with vanilla and caramel from the cognac cask. Orange zest and faint almond marzipan, plus a refined oak spice, give a warm, glossy bouquet that hints at dessert-fruit sweetness.
Palate
Silky and creamy on the palate, vanilla and toffee weave with ripe orchard fruits. Cognac-cask finishing brings plush notes of apricot, orange zest and gentle spice, layered over delicate oak and almond. Warm, well-balanced and slightly syrupy at mid-palate, it leaves a long kiss of caramel and dried fruit.
Finish
Velvety, cognac-kissed finish that lingers with warming spice and dried fruit. Notes of caramel, vanilla, and toffee unfold into creamy oak, while a kiss of orange zest and subtle spice trails away, leaving a refined, long-lasting sweetness and gentle warmth.
