Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery glow and a hint of mahogany red.
Nose
Opulent sherry bouquet with dried figs, raisins and plum, orange zest, toffee and burnt sugar. Rich vanilla, cocoa and dark chocolate mingle with polished oak, almond and a whisper of leather. A saffron-spice lift and subtle nuttiness frame a lingering, velvety sweetness, hinting at an antique sherry cask and decades of maturation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, this dram coats the palate with warm fruit and spice. Dried-fruit sweetness—raisin, fig, date—meets orange zest, toasted nuts and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and clove spice lingers with oak tannin and a whisper of leather. At 51.3% it remains poised, finishing long with fruitcake, espresso and velvety warmth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where sherry-soaked fruits—fig, raisin, date—linger with toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove drift through, a cocoa-dusted sweetness and orange zest lingering in a velvety fade, finishing with a refined, nutty echo.
