After initial ageing in American white oak it is finished in Clos De Tart casks from Burgundy/France (60%) and Rasteau wine casks from the Rhone valley/France (40%)

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-ruby highlights and a wine-kissed, sunset-gold glow.
Nose
Orange muscat notes take the lead, marrying strawberry with a balsamic lift. Earthy red berries mingle with grape skins on a forest floor, while glace cherry adds brightness, finished with a subtle dusting of cocoa powder on French toast.
Palate
Red berry fruit kicks off the palate, mingled with sweet spice, waxy orange rind, and peppery oak. Plum jam lingers with bitter chocolate, while crunchy red wine tannins provide a crisp, structured bite.
Finish
Freeze-dried strawberry and raspberry linger with cranberry shortbread, a kiss of sweet peppery spice, fruity liquorice, toasted oak and aromatic tobacco.
