Flora and Fauna, nicknamed by the late whisky writer, Michael Jackson, was a themed series of distillery only single malt whisky releases. Each distillery was given a particular creature as its symbol, which is elegantly displayed on each bottle's beautiful label.
The delightful Flora & Fauna Glenlossie. Sweet, lightly fruity, well balanced, with just a whiff of smoke. This herbal and floral style single malt whisky is a fine example of a 'Top Class' Speyside.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Vinous, like a well-used cocktail cabinet, with fresh plums, kiwi-fruit and a promise of pear-drops.
Palate
Sweet; a good balance of primary tastes, with some pleasant acidity. If more water is added, there is a very slight hint of smoke.
Finish
Dryish, with some light chocolate notes and a light, malty aftertaste.
