At cask strength, the aroma is concentrated, warm, and luxuriously long, like a polished mahogany cabinet after a fine decanter has warmed the room.

Palate

Powerful and velvety, this cask-strength Glenlivet coats the palate with rich, dark sherried fruit—raisin and fig—brightened by orange zest, toffee and burnt sugar. Spices of cinnamon and clove weave through polished oak, delivering a layered warmth. The finish is long, chocolate-sweet with espresso notes and lingering oak at 60.2%.
