A 5cl version of Glenglassaugh Torfa.
The first peated release from this distillery. Torfa (meaning peat in norse) is peated to 20ppm and aged in ex-Bourbon casks. A superb example of how good younger malts can be, with its well balanced mix of sweet vanilla, vibrant citrus, coastal peat smoke and peppery spice.

Bright golden straw with sunlit amber highlights.
Nose
Sweet vanilla intertwines with vibrant citrus, carried on coastal peat smoke with a maritime tang. Peppery spice lifts the nose, while bourbon-cask warmth and subtle oak provide depth and balance.
Palate
On the palate, creamy vanilla and toffee unfold with bright citrus zest, set against coastal peat smoke. The peat stays poised and refined, yielding a peppery spice that lingers through a crisp, saline finish. Bourbon-cask sweetness adds vanilla and light oak, creating a balanced, medium-bodied profile that finishes with a softly smoky, maritime cadence.
Finish
Long, coastal peat lingers, weaving vanilla sweetness with bright citrus before fading into peppery spice and a delicate sea-salt whisper.
