Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-gold highlights and a tawny mahogany edge.
Nose
Dark sherry notes open, with fig and raisin tempered by orange zest and caramel. Vanilla and toffee weave through toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove lend spice; a hint of almond adds a refined, velvety maturity to the aroma.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, it delivers dried fig and sultana, toffee and dark chocolate, brightened by orange zest. Sherry influence adds nutty depth, caramel and a warm spice of cinnamon and clove. Creamy texture with refined oak tannins, finishing long and luxurious, leaving caramel, almond and a lingering whisper of spice.
Finish
Silky, medium-long finish infused with sherry richness. Dried fig and raisin cling to the palate, oak and toasted almond lending polish, while gentle spice—cinnamon and clove—stays warm and inviting, fading to a cocoa-dusted, lingering finale.
