The fourth expression of the Experimental Series, Fire & Cane is a bold fusion of smoky and sweet notes. By marrying peated whisky and malts matured in bourbon barrels, and then finishing in Latin rum casks, they have created an exquisite whisky with campfire smokiness and toffee sweetness.

Experimental Series #5 - Orchard Experiment

Orchard Experiment is the fifth whisky in Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series. This innovative single malt is matured in Somerset Pomona casks - a blend of apple cider brandy and apple juice from the Somerset Cider Brandy Company. These casks impart vibrant flavours of ripe orchard fruits, sweet caramel, vanilla and delicate wood spice.

Nose

Billowing soft peat, like distant smoke on the wind, mingles with rich toffee and zesty orchard fruits, crowned by a whisper of spice.

Palate

On the palate, campfire peat blends with warm oak and toffee, while bright green orchard fruit and baked apple sweetness rise, finishing with a soft, lingering smoke.

Finish

Long, smoky finish with toffee sweetness and a warm, rum-kissed fade; lingering vanilla, oak spice, and a hint of orchard fruit.
