Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm, sherry‑tinged glow.
Nose
Dark chocolate, smoke and clove spice fuse on the nose, like mulled wine warming the glass; as it settles, graceful floral notes unfold, hinting at the sherry-influenced elegance of this 34-year-old Glenfarclas.
Palate
Caramel opens the palate, giving way to toffee apples, then bright apples and pears, all carried by a refined sherried sweetness with a touch of spice.
Finish
Spicy, liquorice-laced finish with a lingering echo of bitter chocolate at the back of the throat.
