A dark amber-bronze colour.
Full bodied Glenfarclas, very deep and mature, complex fruit, sultanas and marmalade. A strong powerful Glenfarclas, i believe it is the strongest we have ever released at this age.
The aroams are intense with rich tones of honey, vanilla, liquorice, cinnamon, raisins and a hint of peat smoke.
This whisky has many layers to delve through. It is like a layered cake with fruit on top, honey, caramel and toffee in the middle, with dry oaky spiciness and a slightly smoky finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber-bronze
Nose
Intense, luxurious nose of honeyed sweetness and vanilla at the fore, layered with liquorice, cinnamon and raisin sultanas, and a marmalade glow. A faint peat smoke whispers through a richly sherried fruit core, adding depth and warming spice.
Palate
Full-bodied and opulent on the palate, it unfolds like a layered cake of fruit: sultanas and raisins with marmalade, honey and toffee, accented by vanilla, liquorice and cinnamon. Sherry-soaked oak delivers dry spice and a whisper of peat smoke, finishing long, warm and richly fruity with caramel and toffee notes.
Finish
Long and dry, with bold oaky spice and a delicate, lingering smoke. Fruitcake notes of honey, sultanas and toffee persist, slowly fading to a warm, resinous oak finish that lingers with quiet authority.
