Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark mahogany-amber with a ruby-copper glow and velvety warmth, a deep, luxurious hue reflective of its sherried richness.
Nose
Opulent, sherry-soaked aromas of raisin, fig and prune mingle with velvety toffee and dark caramel. Hints of orange zest, cocoa and vanilla weave through the fruit, with spice, leather and aged oak in the background.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate carries rich sherry sweetness with raisin, fig and date, brushed by cocoa, toffee and caramel. Toasted spice, cinnamon and clove, lend warmth as oak tannins shape the finish. Long, luxurious fruit and nut notes linger.
Finish
Long, sumptuous and warm, with an enduring echo of dark chocolate, brûléed fig and sultana, brushed by cinnamon and clove. The sherry sweetness lingers as toasted oak and coffee bean fade into a velvet, mouth-coating finish.
