Only the most exceptional Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks were chosen—meticulously selected and carefully nurtured under the watchful eye of our esteemed Master Blender, Rachel Barrie, until they reached their absolute peak.
The result is a whisky of remarkable richness and layered complexity—an exquisite and rare expression of Glendronach craftsmanship.

Colour
Deep mahogany with shimmering copper-amber hues and a ruby-tinted edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma: dark prune, fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, toffee and cocoa. Subtle vanilla, toasted almond, and a whisper of leather and tobacco emerge from Spanish oak—Oloroso and PX—aging for four decades. Refined, deep, and decadently inviting.
Palate
Velvety, full-bodied and generous, this 40-year Glendronach unfurls layers of dark sherry—fig, raisin, orange peel—woven with walnut and cocoa. Oloroso and PX sweetness radiates through spice, giving a creamy, oil-rich mouthfeel that glides to a long, warming finish of dried fruit, coffee, and supple leather.
Finish
Opulent, long finish cloaked in sherry sweetness, with prune, fig and PX treacle, dark chocolate and toasted almond. Velvet oak and gentle spice glide across the palate, tapering to a warm, lingering echo of leather and rich dried fruit.
