Palate

On the palate, this is a full-bodied, velvety dram, weaving damson and plum with black walnut and truffle. Sherry ribbons—fig, raisin and treacle gingerbread—layer over antique leather and cocoa. The concentration from 50.1% ABV gives a warm, slightly resinous grip, leaving a long, rich echo of spice, fruit and wood.

Finish

Long, opulent finish that clings with dark fruit and sherried sweetness. Damson and plum echo through layers of antique leather, black walnut and treacle-gingerbread, with hints of cacao and spice lingering on the tongue. A warm, refined glow persists, fading to a velvety dryness that invites the next sip.
