Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep, burnished copper with rich amber and mahogany undertones, a sherry-kissed glow that hints at the richness within.

Nose

Sweet aromatics of fudge and Muscovado sugar rise from the glass, while fruit compote and glacial Morello cherries lend added complexity to the nose.

Palate

Rich, dark and seductive on the palate, with stewed fruits and all-spice marrying to aged Oloroso sherry, toasted walnut bread, and a touch of chocolate.

Finish

An exceptionally long, richly complex finish that lingers with stewed fruits, dried cherry, all-spice and dark chocolate, carried by the warmth of aged Oloroso sherry and a whisper of toasted walnut.
