Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper and mahogany highlights.
Nose
Bright, refined nose with orchard fruit taking center stage—green apple and pear—under bright lemon zest, honey and vanilla. Subtle toasted oak, almond and a whisper of white chocolate. A delicate sherried sweetness lingers, lightly spiced, evoking polished elegance and quiet refinement.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this Glencadam unfolds with sherried richness: dark plum, raisin and fig mingle with orange zest, honeyed vanilla and cocoa. Gentle spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—join toast and oak. The mouthfeel is lush, with a warming, lingering finish of dried fruit and soft tobacco.
Finish
Long, silky finish with dried fruit and dark chocolate notes, hints of orange zest and walnut, warming spice, and a final kiss of sherry-soaked oak that lingers gracefully.
