The GlenAllachie 8 year old is a truly exceptional Single Malt. Created from a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak casks and red wine barriques.
The resulting bronze spirit delivers sherry-matured sophistication, abundant with classic Speyside heather honey and butterscotch notes, balanced perfectly with sweet spices and hints of stem ginger, this creation truly represents the character of GlenAllachie.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bronze-gold with warm amber hues and a honeyed copper glow.
Nose
Heather honey and butterscotch lead the aroma, mingling with cinnamon, then unfolding waves of ginger, toasted almonds and mocha.
Palate
Lashings of treacle, dried sultanas and butterscotch weave through cinnamon and peppermint, finishing with honeycomb sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish of treacle and dried sultanas, perfumed with cinnamon and peppermint. The honeyed sweetness lingers, while toasted almond and a kiss of oak drift in as the spice gradually fades.
