Created using a combination of PX and Oloroso Puncheons, the 15 year old is a definitive sherried expression of GlenAllachie. This whisky delivers plenty of raisins and butterscotch on the nose which seems to constantly develop in complexity.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunset bronze, warming through amber and copper, with the sherried 15-year lending mahogany and ruby-tinted hues across the trio.
Nose
Opulent sherried bouquet of dried sultanas and raisins, layered with creamy butterscotch, cinnamon and peppermint. PX and Oloroso influence weave through, with virgin oak adding depth. The aroma unfolds gracefully, revealing evolving fruit sweetness and spice on the nose.
Palate
A layered palate of sun-dried sultanas and butterscotch from the 8-year mingle with a rich sherried heart—raisin, fig and cocoa—infused with vanilla, toasted oak and a kiss of cinnamon and peppermint. Creamy, warming and long, with a finish that evolves from sweet fruit to toasted spice.
Finish
An enveloping, long finish that lingers with raisin-tinged toffee as the sherry cask influence unfolds into dark fruit and spice. Dried sultanas, butterscotch and cinnamon drift into a whisper of peppermint, with velvety oak sustaining the warm, lingering sweetness well after the last sip.
