Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with warm amber-gold tones and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Coastal malt and sea-salt rise from the glass, revealing ripe apple and pale citrus, then deepen into dried fig, raisin, and toasted almond. Sherry whispers cocoa and spice, with vanilla weaving through, finishing in a warm maritime glow that lingers.
Palate
Malt-forward and softly sherried, this Glen Scotia coats the palate with raisin, fig and toffee, kissed by orange zest and cocoa. Spices—nutmeg and clove—arc through gentle oak, with a fleeting maritime salt. Silky and balanced, it finishes warm and persistent, leaving a nutty, cocoa-dusted sweetness.
Finish
Silky finish, medium-long, with sherried sweetness of fig and raisin melting into dark chocolate and toffee. Subtle spice threads through, while a hint of sea salt and toasted oak persist, leaving a warm, resinous echo that lingers gracefully on the palate.
