Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery gleam and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Ripe orchard fruit—apple and pear—melds with creamy vanilla and honey. Sherry influence rises with raisin, fig and dark cocoa, intertwined with toasted almond, a hint of caramel, and a whisper of spice, all carried on a softly oaken, elegant frame.
Palate
Silky and balanced on the palate, this Glen Moray 1993 unfurls a rich tapestry of dark cherries and raisins, brightened by orange zest and a ribbon of vanilla. Treacle, toasted almond and soft spice—cinnamon and clove—coast with oak sweetness, while a cacao kiss lingers into a warm, refined finish.
Finish
Long, warm finish infused with sherry sweetness: cocoa, dried fruit and almond notes linger, supported by subtle spice and oak. A velvety, lingering warmth coats the palate and fades gracefully into a refined afterglow.
