A rather rare bottling of Glen Keith, a distillery not noted for many single malts due to it's postion within the Chivas Portfolio and rarer still to have one of this age!

Part of Gordon and Macphails Connoisseurs Choice range, this 24 year old single malt was drawn from a refill Bourbon barrel.

Very fruity nose, pear, apple, lots of tropical fruits like pineapple, coconut and lime. The palate is medium with lots of vanilla and citrus complimented bymalty notes. The finishis quite delicate and herbal.

Nose

A bright, fruity nose of pear and apple opens to tropical layers of pineapple, coconut and lime—fresh, vibrant and inviting.

Palate

Medium-bodied with generous vanilla and bright citrus, supported by malty undertones; a clean, malt-driven finish.

Finish

Delicate, herbal finish with a gentle citrus-vanilla echo and a soft malt whisper that lingers gracefully.

Glen Keith
(Glen-KEETH) Glen Keith was built in 1957–58 by Seagram in the town of Keith, on the site of a former meal mill directly behind Strathisla, to supply malt for blends such as Chivas Regal, Passport and 100 Pipers. From the beginning it had a slightly unusual role within Speyside: it became Seagram’s experimental distillery, at one stage running triple-distilled spirit, carrying out yeast and mash trials, and becoming the first distillery to use gas-fired direct heating. In the 1970s it also produced a peated variant under the Glenisla name.
