Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery glow and sunlit honey-gold edges.
Nose
Aromas of honeyed pear and sun-kissed apples rise, edged by creamy vanilla and toasted almond. Rich sherry indulgence follows—dried fig and raisin, milk chocolate, and spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) with polished oak lingering in the background.
Palate
Silky and generous on the palate, this Glen Elgin unfolds with ripe pear and orchard fruit sweetness, evolving into dried fig and raisin from the sherry influence. Creamy vanilla and toffee glide through almond notes, while orange zest and gentle spice leave a warm, polished finish, framed by refined oak and a whisper of cocoa.
Finish
An exceptionally long, refined finish glides across the palate on sherry-sweetness. Dried apricot and fig mingle with almond and cocoa, while gentle spice and toasted oak frame the experience. A warm, lasting glow lingers, poised between sweetness and oak, inviting the next indulgent sip.
