Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany, a warm, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Rich and venerable on the nose: dried figs and prunes with caramelized orange rind, dark chocolate, and toasted almond. Subtle sherry sweetness threads through warm vanilla and cinnamon, while polished oak, raisin, and a whisper of tobacco add depth. A refined, inviting perfume of aged whisky.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate delivering sherry-kissed sweetness with dried fig, raisin and toffee. Nutty almond and walnut unfold against vanilla-tinged oak, while cinnamon and clove weave a refined spice. A warm, velvety finish lingers with hints of cocoa and leather.
Finish
Velvety and enduring, the finish coats the palate with dried fig and date sweetness, braided with toasted oak and sherry richness. Cocoa and burnt sugar linger, lifted by a gentle spice and a whisper of leather, fading into a warm, honeyed glow that lingers long after the last sip.
