Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm mahogany glow and a subtle ruby tint, enriched by coppery highlights.
Nose
Red-wine finish saturates the nose with ripe cherry, blackberry and plum, interlaced with soft oak, vanilla and baking spice. Subtle cacao and almond deepen the aroma, while a bright citrus lift keeps it elegant. Generous, polished and silky, it hints at a refined sweetness beneath the Highland malt.
Palate
Silky and medium-full, the palate opens with red-berry, plum and dried cherry layered over creamy orchard fruit. Red wine cask finish brings velvety tannins and a touch of chocolate-dark depth, with spice of cinnamon and clove and toasted oak. Long, refined, and lightly drying, with wine‑lifted complexity.
Finish
An enduring finish drawn out by red-wine influence: dark cherry and blackberry weave with velvety cocoa and spice, supported by soft oak tannins that linger with warm, refined sweetness.
