A Straight from the Cask bottling of Edradour bottled exclusively for the Taiwanese market. Distilled on 30th May 2006, and matured in first fill Oloroso sherry cask #239 for 9 years before being bottled on 28th January 2016.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with rich mahogany and copper-bronze highlights.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the nose unfurls with rich sherry-soaked fragrance: dark raisins, fig and date paste, orange zest and toffee, intertwined with toasted almond and walnut and a veil of vanilla. Nutmeg and gentle spice drift through a resinous oak backdrop, hinting at a long, velvety finish.
Palate
Full-bodied and luxurious, the palate offers fig, prune and raisin, brightened by orange zest and dark chocolate. Spiced warmth of clove and cinnamon threads through toasted almond and toffee, with a sherry-soft backbone and oak carrying to a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish underpinned by Oloroso richness: dark fig and dried plum, orange zest and cocoa spill across the palate, tempered by toasted almond and warm spice. The oak lingers with quiet elegance, slowly fading into a velvety sweetness.
