Nose
Opulent, time-wrought nose of polished oak and vanilla, layered with dried fig and date, and a whisper of almond and walnut. A sherry-tinged sweetness adds treacle and dark chocolate, while a delicate spice and subtle smoke hint at age and refinement.
Palate
Silky and creamy, with vanilla and hazelnut sweetness underpinning polished oak. Dried fig and raisin mingle with toffee and a hint of orange zest, then a subtle spice broadens the mid-palate. The finish is long and warm, softening into a velvety grain sweetness with hints of dark chocolate.
Finish
Unhurried and refined, the finish unfolds slowly: dried fruit and cocoa deepen into toasted almond and orange zest, edged with gentle spice and rich sherried oak. A warm, lingering echo of sweetness and grain, persisting long after the sip.
