Distillery Bottling

This luxurious whisky is crafted by blending carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, which are then finished in fine Pauillac wine casks from one of France’s premier wine regions. The result is a full-bodied, complex whisky bottled at 48% ABV.

Rich aromas of raspberry coulis and fresh vanilla lead into flavours of blackcurrant jam, lemon curd, spiced plums, and poached pear. The finish is long, sweet, and complex, with spicy undertones that will delight whisky and wine collectors alike.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with a rich copper-gold core and a subtle ruby glow.

Nose

Raspberry coulis and fresh vanilla form a lush aromatic core, releasing blackcurrant jam, lemon curd, spiced plum, and poached pear. The Pauillac finish adds a wine-kissed oak lift, lending refinement with a subtle spice that hints at elegance to come.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, this folds blackcurrant jam and raspberry coulis with lemon curd, spiced plums and poached pear across the palate. Rich vanilla and silky oak weave through the mid-palate, while a Pauillac‑kissed spice adds depth. Sweet-touched fruit meets a measured, wine‑driven warmth, delivering a long, elegant finish that lingers with nuance.

Finish

A long, sweet, and complex finish with subtle spicy undertones that linger warmly, inviting reflection and another thoughtful sip.

Chivas Regal
(SHIV-us ree-guhl) Chivas Regal traces its roots to Aberdeen in 1801, when John and James Chivas began building the business that would become Chivas Brothers. The name gained royal recognition in 1843 with a Royal Warrant to supply Queen Victoria, and entered whisky history in 1909 with the launch of Chivas Regal 25 Year Old, the blend that established Chivas as a luxury Scotch whisky.
