There's 21 Drams, all of good quality, with differing ages and cask finishes which gives an all round tasting experience. The whiskies are all Scotch Whisky, mostly single malts, with the odd grain, blend or blended malts in there for comparison. This is a perfect gift for a passionate whisky lover - and would also suit a present to be shared - can see this at a dinner party being handed round, or in a staff room at Christmas time. Subtle spice, cocoa and a whisper of smoke weave through, hinting at the varied, premium Scotch journey contained in this set.
Palate
Elegant and expansive on the palate, this collection reveals a spectrum of malt, oak and sherry influence. Creamy vanilla and toffee give way to dried fruit, fig and almond, while spice—ginger and cinnamon—lends warmth. Subtle citrus lift and cocoa notes appear across drams, with a touch of oak ash and smoke. The finish is long, balanced and softly fruity, with growing complexity as flavours mingle on the tasting journey.
