Nose

Delicate maritime bouquet: sea breeze and saline notes mingle with honeyed orchard fruit, ripe pear and apple, almond and vanilla, then a gentle sherry sweetness and a whisper of toasted oak.

Palate

Silky and balanced, this 12-year-old Islay presents a gentle sherry sweetness—raisin, dried fig, and ripened apple—paired with almond, vanilla, and toffee. A whisper of sea salt and light spice adds depth, finishing long and smooth with cocoa and oak.

Finish

Long, elegant finish with a gentle coastal glow. Vanilla and honeyed toffee linger, enriched by sherry-driven dried fruit and almond. Subtle cocoa and spice drift through, leaving a soft, maritime fade that remains refined, balanced and warmly inviting.

Bunnahabhain
(BUNNA-hah-ven) Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain is situated on the north east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay near Caol Ila. Bunnahabhain's initial aim was to produce Whisky for blending only. While it was used across the industry, it performed a central role in three famous blends: Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Black Bottle. Following a short period of closure in the early 1980s, Bunnahabhain re-emerged as a Single Malt.
