Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a touch of ruby, a sherry-warm glow that promises richness.
Nose
Peat-forward and coastal, this greets the nose with a smoky plume mingling sea salt and iodine. Notes of malt, vanilla and citrus ripple through the smoke, while oak adds structure and a briny edge that recalls Islay’s rugged seaboard.
Palate
Peat-forward with a smoky, maritime spine. On the palate, iodine and ash mingle with creamy malt sweetness—honeyed barley, toffee, and dried fruit—then a tang of citrus and spice. Rich and mouth-coating, the 54% spirit carries a long, savoury finish of char, sea-salt, and mineral undertones that linger softly yet provocatively.
Finish
Long, coastal peat lingers with briny smoke, caramel vanilla and warm oak spice. The peat eases into dark fruit and cocoa, leaving a resinous, sea-salted warmth that softly but persistently fades.
