Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with honeyed amber undertones.
Nose
Coastal and gently peaty, sea spray and iodine weave with vanilla, honey and lemon zest. Pear and apple mingle with dried fig and raisin from sherry cask, while almond and toffee thread through creamy oak. A subtle salt kiss lingers, inviting a refined, coastal bouquet from this Islay malt.
Palate
Silky, well-balanced palate with a gentle sweetness and maritime bite. Ripe orange zest and dried fruit mingle with almond, biscuit and honeyed notes, while sherry cask influence delivers dark fruit, cocoa and spice. Subtle vanilla and oak frame the mid-palate, finishing with length, dry warmth, a touch of sea salt and a whisper of smoke.
Finish
Silky finish with a coastal whisper—subtle dried fruit and almond sweetness give way to vanilla and soft oak, slowly fading into a delicate sherry-tinged warmth.
