Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a mahogany-tinged core and coppery edge, a sunset-hued glow.
Nose
Opulent, sherried aroma of dried cherries, fig and date, fused with walnut and cocoa. Vanilla and orange zest gleam through, while soft spice and polished oak lend elegant warmth. A whisper of sea air and brine adds Islay edge, harmonizing coastal freshness with rich, cask-driven sweetness.
Palate
Silky and medium-full on the palate, it opens with dried fig and orange zest, balanced by cocoa and toasted almond. Spices—nutmeg, cinnamon—unfold with a subtle maritime breeze and a whisper of smoke. The multi-cask finish adds layering of fruit and oak, delivering a long, refined finish with warm sweetness and restrained tannins.
Finish
Long, refined finish with creamy vanilla, cacao and dried fruit unfolding over toasted oak. A delicate spice lifts the palate, while a whisper of maritime tang and subtle sherry cask sweetness lingers, fading to a warm, elegant echo.
