Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with warm coppery undertones and glints of sunlit gold.

Nose

Soft maritime peat smoke entwines with citrus zest and honeyed vanilla, drifting over creamy toffee and gentle oak. Subtle sea-salt and a whisper of iodine finish with a coastal breeze, inviting curiosity with every sniff.

Palate

Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, Bowmore braids coastal peat with sherry-soft fruit. Raisin, fig and orange zest unfold over vanilla, toffee and cocoa, while a saline edge keeps it buoyant. The mouthfeel is creamy yet precise, with warm smoke and honeyed sweetness lingering on the tongue.

Finish

Long and refined, with maritime peat lingering softly. Sea-salt notes mingle with vanilla sweetness and citrus, then drift toward subtle cocoa and oak spice. The smoke fades gracefully, leaving a polished, ember-bright finish that echoes Bowmore’s coastal heritage.
