Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper highlights and a hint of mahogany, glowing with warm, sherry-kissed depth.
Nose
Maritime peat smoke entwines with sea spray, lemon zest and honeyed citrus on the nose. Subtle sherry-soft fruit—fig and raisin—dances with vanilla, toasted oak, and a waxy sheen, while a whisper of ash and salty air lingers, hinting at Bowmore’s coastal elegance.
Palate
Smoke-kissed peat, sea-salt and sherry-sweetness fuse on the palate, with fig, raisin and dark chocolate; vanilla and spice layer through a creamy mouthfeel, while mineral notes provide a bracing backbone. A lingering, smoke-driven finish with a whisper of orange zest.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with wind-swept peat and briny mineral notes. A soft Sherry sweetness threads through dried fruit, cocoa and vanilla, then eases into warm oak and subtle spice. The smoke lingers, refined and lingering, echoing Bowmore’s coastal character.
