Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep golden amber with a burnished copper edge.

Nose

Sea-salted peat and Bowmore’s characteristic citrus sweetness mingle with vanilla and polished sherry, releasing subtle iodine, dried apricot, and almond. A quiet maritime breeze carries smoke, burnt caramel, and cocoa nibs, finishing with a mineral, saline lift.

Palate

Maritime smoke swirls through a satin texture, pairing rich vanilla and toffee with dark fruit. Sherry-cask sweetness broadens the midpalate—prune, fig and cocoa—while sea-salt, iodine and a briny edge sharpen the finish. Subtle spice and oak lend lift and length, leaving a refined, coastal ember that lingers long after the sip.

Finish

A long, maritime finish with refined peat smoke, sea salt and a touch of iodine, unfolding into salted caramel, dark chocolate and dried fruit, and lingering with warm spice.
