Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, burnished amber with coppery glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Peat smoke threads through coastal brine and citrus zest, drawing in vanilla and toasted oak. Dried figs and raisins mingle with cocoa and a whisper of sherry sweetness, while a delicate iodine-kissed mineral note keeps the palate buoyant. Layered, refined and evocative, with a lingering coastal finish.
Palate
Silky on the palate, it opens with subtle peat and sea-salt breeze, carried by citrus zest. Sherry-influenced sweetness brings dried fig, date and cocoa, woven with toasted oak and vanilla. The smoke persists, layered with peppery spice and a vestige of salt. Finish is long, warming, and refined, leaving a lingering toffee-peat whisper.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat and salt, with a kiss of sherry sweetness lingering on the palate. Ash, iodine and vanilla fade into dried fig and dark cocoa, leaving a softly spiced, oaken warmth that drifts away on a briny, golden glow.
