When first released this had a retail price below £80, in fact we still have an original purchase receipt from ODDBINS showing £79.99 - but once the taste testers got their hands on it, and declared it one of the finest malts ever produced the street price just went up and up.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Opaque, obsidian-black with a subtle mahogany edge catching the light.
Nose
Intense, refined peat smoke rises with sea-salt brine and lacquered sweetness. Dark chocolate, espresso and dried fig mingle with orange zest and vanilla, lifted by a sherried warmth. A maritime core grounds tobacco and toasted oak, delivering a luxurious, velvety peat aroma with depth and invitation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, delivering a luxurious layer of smoke blended with rich sherry sweetness. Dark plum and fig mingle with raisin, espresso, and cocoa while maritime iodine and peppered peat threads weave through. A velvet, slightly drying finish with orange zest and roasted nuts lingering long after swallow.
Finish
Long and velvety, the finish lingers with dark sherried fruits—fig and raisin—woven with cocoa, orange zest, and a whisper of coastal peat. Warm spice folds into toffee, ending in a refined maritime smoke that slowly fades.
