Benromach Triple Distilled Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
A new limited release of just 15,000 bottles from Gordon & Macphail's Speyside distillery, Benromach.
This bottling has been triple distilled to produce a softer, more delicate spirit. However, it has been bottled at a satisfying 50% ABV so still packs a punch in the flavour department. The use of first fill Bourbon casks imparts plenty of sweet vanilla, butterscotch, banana and white chocolate aromas and flavours that mingle with the subtle bonfire smoke that is characteristic of whisky from Benromach.
Has the attitude of a Bruichladdich and the most complete of the new batch of triple distilled single malts coming out of Scotland to date.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with warm amber undertones; a luminous, sun-kissed hue.
Nose
Sweet vanilla leads the bouquet, creamy and inviting, with cream cheese and strawberry notes. Floral lift and citrus brighten the aroma, tempered by a gentle bonfire-smoke. Banana and white chocolate drift in, followed by toffee-like butterscotch for a creamy, layered finish.
Palate
Soft and creamy on the palate, where caramel and butterscotch mingle with toasty oak. White pepper adds a subtle bite, while citrus fruits lift the finish for a bright, lingering impression.
Finish
A lingering sweetness of toffee and vanilla gives way to peppery spice, warm wood, citrus and earthy undertones, finishing with wisps of sooty embers.
