Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge, glowing with a warm, wine-bronze sheen.
Nose
Red-fruit and velvety notes rise from the glass—cherries, plum and berry compote braided with toffee, vanilla and cocoa from the Port casks. A delicate peat whisper adds rustic depth, while almond, spice and oak lend a refined, lingering complexity.
Palate
Velvety palate of ripe red berries, plum and raisin, threaded with Port-cask sweetness. Subtle peat smoke mingles with dark chocolate, toffee and spice, supported by oak tannins, finishing with a long, smoky-red fruit lift.
Finish
Long, elegant finish blending gentle peat with port-cask sweetness. Red fruit and fig linger, layered with dark chocolate, spice, and a whisper of tobacco smoke, all wrapped in warming oak that dissolves slowly into a lasting, refined finish.
