Aged exclusively in first-fill Sherry hogshead casks and produced in very small batches, using barley malted with high levels of peat smoke a 55ppm.
Appealing cinnamon and ginger aromas with dark chocolate give way to soft demerara sugar. This is complimented by Seville orange peel with sweet smoke.
Cocoa powder and sweet, creamy honeycomb accompany stewed red berries on the palate. Subtle vanilla and cracked black pepper lead to toasted almonds.
The finish is full with Morello cherry, peat smoke and sweetness.
