Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm reddish-gold glow.
Nose
Intricate and aged, the nose opens with sherried fruit—prune, raisin, fig—coated by walnut and orange zest. Beneath, soft peat smoke drifts through polished oak, vanilla, and toffee, while a whisper of leather and spice lingers. An elegant, collectible aroma that hints at decades in cask.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied with a refined peat smoke tempered by sherry sweetness. Dried fruit notes of raisin and fig mingle with orange zest, dark chocolate and toffee; a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg spices the mid-palate. Long, warm finish with lingering smoke and oak.
Finish
Long, refined finish with gentle peat, dried fruit and toffee giving way to warm spice, a kiss of sherry sweetness, and a lasting, velvety oak glow.
