Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with coppery glow and mahogany edges, a rich, inviting hue.

Nose

Opulent fruit cake aromas mingle with Demerara sugar and satin-toffee, a caramel-sweet core softened by a touch of oak. Rich, inviting and warmly indulgent.

Palate

Opulently rich on the palate, with fruit cake, Demerara sugar and dark toffee weaving through a sherry-cask depth. Dried plum and fig mingle with toasted oak and a touch of spice, while a full, syrupy body coats the tongue. The finish is long and warming, leaving cacao, almond and a lingering sweetness.

Finish

Long and luxurious, the finish seduces with fruit cake and Demerara sugar, then toffee deepens the sweetness. Subtle oak and spice fade slowly, leaving a velvety, persistent warmth.
