Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-mahogany edges and a warm honey-gold core, rich and inviting with sherry-tinted depth.
Nose
Warm, perfumed nose with earthy truffle, dried raisins and figs, cocoa and walnut, and a mineral soil note. A quirky anchovy hint threads through the sherry depth, while the 60.4% ABV sits as a perceptible warmth on the air.
Palate
Silky milk chocolate anchors the palate, with cloves, gingerbread and cinnamon weaving through. Raisins and stewed apples mingle with orange zest, delivering a ripe fruit core atop a robust, cask-strength body. A warm, lingering spice note threads through, hinting at sherry influence.
Finish
Medium-long, dark fruits and cocoa linger, underscored by a soft sherry warmth and a delicate hint of alcohol burn that gradually subsides.
